I painted these over the four weeks of advent, as I prayed for an end to the war in Israel Gaza.
I share these paintings, in sadness for the loss of life in the Holy Land but also in hope as we hear the good news:
"Unto us a child is born,
to us a son is given;...
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God,
Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6–7)
