Bible Blessings for Troubled Times

This series of simple illustrated blessings for troubled times, inspired by the Bible. Some are haiku poems I have written to share the Bible verses differently, others are merely verses from scripture. I created these for myself and thought I would share them here, in the hope that they might help others who are troubled and searching for blessings.

Do not fear. God is with you always (Isaiah 41:10)

Trust with all your heart

Turn away from inward fears

God will guide the way

(Proverbs 3:5-6)

Rejoice hopefully

Be patient in God's good time

Pray without ceasing

(Romans 12:12)

Try not to worry

Be as the birds and flowers

Rest in God's goodness

I do not fear, for God is my strength in everything

God's love fills me with peace and hope

(Romans 5:5)

When my anxiety was high

God comforted me

You will have troubles in this world

But in Jesus you can find Peace

God's plans for us

Are full of hope

(Jeremiah 29:11)

Faith, hope and love remain always

(1 Corinthians 13:13)

God's hope

Fills the world with joy and peace

Every day

(Romans 15:13)

God will never abandon us

(Hebrews 13:5)

God is working

For good throughout the world

On this we can rely

(Philippians 1:6)

New each morning

God's compassion never fails

Hold onto that hope

(Lamentations 3:21-23)

My hope is in God

I am guided in truth

Whenever I ask

(Psalm 25)

Lord you are my hope

I have always trusted in you
