Reading Gas Tower

Gas tower reflects Memories of train travel London to Reading Architectural welcome Dominating horizon

I created this tanka poem and digital painting in homage to the Reading Gas Tower I've lived in the Reading area for 25 years and the gas tower has always been a beauty of architecture on the horizon as the train approached Reading from London. Of course as an engineer I might be more biased in my love of industrial architecture, but hopefully everyone sees the beauty when it is reflected in the canal.
